Course Tuition and Fees

Payment is required to secure a spot in a course.

The minimum payment due at time of registration is 50% of the regular tuition fee.  The fee shown at the time of registration will apply and supersedes any prior or future advertised fee.  The fee for rescheduling or retesting may be different and is in addition to the regular tuition fee.

The full tuition fee must be paid in full prior to the start of the 7th classroom session.  Continued participation in the course will not be allowed if not paid in full and additional fees may be applied in the case of required make-up sessions.

Making Payments

If a payment is not made to reserve your spot and we are unable to contact you about payment, then we may cancel your reserved spot in the course.

There are several ways to make a payment:

  • Over the phone, with Visa or Mastercard

  • Online, with Visa or Mastercard - at time of registration
    • Before submitting a registration for your appointment select the "Pay online" option if available.
    • Follow instructions to complete the order and make your payment.
    • NOTE: not all PSS program web sites have an online payment option.
  • In person at our main office, with cash, check, money order, Visa or Mastercard
    • Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm

Late Arrivals and Missed Course Sessions

If you arrive late for your scheduled course session the instructor may not be able to catch you up and you may be required to schedule a make-up session.  If you do not attend a course session you will be required to schedule a make-up session.

Make-up sessions are scheduled as needed and an additional fee may apply.  This applies to both classroom and behind-the-wheel sessions.

License Testing Options

Your reserved spot in the course includes one free knowledge test and one discounted drive test.  License testing appointments will be available upon completion of all course requirements.  Should you not pass the knowledge test, one free retest may be offered.

DOL Mandated Testing

If you received a letter from DOL to take an examination due to a physical, mental, visual or any medical issue, you must test at a DOL office.  Failure to disclose this information prior to testing with us will result in your test not being honored at DOL to obtain your license and we will not refund any fees paid.

Special Accommodations

You must notify our office at the time of registration or course inquiry of any special accommodations that you require. Special accommodations are not always available, but with advance notice we can often comply with requests.

Cancellation and Reschedule Policy

If you provide us notice 10 business days or more prior to the scheduled start of the course that you need to cancel, you are eligible to reschedule without additional fees. If you do not show for your course, or if you cancel within less than 10 business days, you may reschedule but an additional fee will apply.

You must call or come by our office during regular business hours to cancel or reschedule. Voicemail and email messages may not constitute sufficient notice that you wish to cancel or reschedule.

Requirements and Conditions for Completion

There are additional terms and conditions for PSS Driving School courses which are covered during the first hour of the first classroom session.  All Terms and Conditions must be met in order for a Completion Certificate to be issued.

Review of these additional requirements can be made during business hours at our main office.  Additionally, our staff may be able to answer questions via email and phone.

Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse services to anyone.

Refund Policy

To be eligible for a refund you must be in compliance with our 10-day cancellation period – see Cancellation and Reschedule Policy above.  All refund requests will incur a $50 processing fee.
